Promoting Positive Behaviour
To support children and staff and to ensure children are engaged in learning we adopt a positive approach to the management of behaviour within the nursery. When children first come to nursery they are introduced to 'Our Golden Rules'. These rules are designed for the children's own safety and to encourage them to respect others. Children are rewarded for good behaviour in nursery with praise, stickers and certificates.
If at any time we have concerns about your child's behaviour we would discuss this with you in order that we can adopt a shared apporach to managing this.
